As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support shoppers, tenants, and staff with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting site leadership and/or public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and restricted spaces as assigned, verifying authorized access and documenting unusual activity in accordance with post orders.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support security-related investigations by preserving information and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
