As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and tenants with clear communication, respond to concerns, and document activities using site tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and service corridors to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe conditions in assigned areas, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disputes, lost and found inquiries, and/or trespass concerns per post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to on-site personnel and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
