As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and report concerns with clear communication. You will support employees and visitors with professional customer service while following site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities for a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate on-site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems as assigned, including checking gates, doors, and perimeter barriers, and documenting irregularities.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and follow-up actions, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
