As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, issue and verify badges, and greet employees, vendors, and visitors with strong customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related protocols at a food and beverage location.
• Control entry and exit by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.
• Screen and/or monitor inbound and outbound shipments by confirming appointments, directing vehicles to designated areas, and reporting discrepancies per site procedure.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, and report maintenance or operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
