Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations using computer and/or tablet tools, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, disturbances, and/or alarms as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, transaction areas, and/or customer waiting areas for unusual activity, and report observations per post orders and site requirements.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and customer interactions in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
