As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and unusual activity. You will complete detailed reports, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and provide a customer-focused experience. This post requires an Armed Guard Card and/or license and offers a chance to support Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with licensing requirements, Allied Universal standards, and site protocols, including maintaining control of issued equipment and reporting any issues.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, alarms, and/or suspicious activity, and notify the appropriate parties as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, including parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and other assigned zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.
  • Have an armed guard card/license.
  • Client requires proof of HS diploma/GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
