As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Chillicothe, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols on foot and by vehicle, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and incident reporting. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and support for employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements, delivering through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific post orders, and established security-related protocols at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and report findings per site procedure.
  • Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as badge checks, visitor management, alarms, and/or CCTV, and document unusual conditions per policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed and assisting with incident scene control until relieved.
  • Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate updates to supervisors and site contacts, and support investigations by preserving observations and available video and/or log information.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
