As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a government transit location, you will perform vehicle and on-foot patrols, complete security-related checks, and maintain a visible presence that can help to reduce incidents across routes and facilities. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support riders and staff with clear communication, timely reporting, and a people-first approach that reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven teamwork.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and customer assistance expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and activity on site through routine presence, observations, and available security-related systems, reporting suspicious activity and policy violations through the established chain of command.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
