As a Security Officer - Access Control Driving Role in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. You will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, support visitor and delivery processing, and maintain clear logs while staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical processing location.
• Monitor and control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access logs per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting events in required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, process areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Perform entry screening and checks of deliveries, contractors, and equipment as directed, supporting badging, key control, and other access control processes while following established site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
