As a Security Officer - Night Patrol Driver in Union City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and report concerns with clear, professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office, lab, and campus areas, including parking areas and building perimeters, and document observations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management processes such as check-in, badge issuance, and directing guests to the appropriate locations.
• Respond to alarms, reports of suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, monitor cameras and other systems when assigned, and communicate updates to management and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
