As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will observe and report unusual activity, support access points as needed, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location, including greeting and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues to report.
• Monitor access points, gates, and delivery areas, including observing incoming and outgoing truck traffic and verifying identification and/or visitor authorization per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, and use radios and/or phones to communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
