As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will carry out armed post duties in alignment with your armed guard card or license, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to situations with professionalism and calm. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols at regular and random intervals throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and lobby traffic, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee entry processes in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite management and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol activity records, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Possess a Corrections Officer License.
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
