As a Security Officer - Flex Badge Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and team members, verify credentials, manage entry and exit logs on a computer and/or tablet, and help maintain orderly traffic flow at gates and checkpoints. You will complete routine patrols and report concerns with clear communication and professionalism. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification, confirming appointments and/or delivery documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow according to site requirements.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; document unusual activity and report concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting dispatch of emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading and unloading areas, yard perimeters, and interior common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
