As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and visitors, support entry screening and access control, and document activity to help reduce security-related issues. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and drivers for authorized entry using identification checks, sign-in procedures, and/or package screening in accordance with post orders.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and surrounding areas for unusual activity, reporting concerns and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter, noting hazards, access issues, and/or suspicious activity and communicating findings as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
