As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and tenants with professional customer service. You will observe and report concerns, assist with access control, and respond to calls for service with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and store associates by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail corridors, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes, as conditions vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or potential hazards, and report observations per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, assisting with lost persons or property, and coordinating with local authorities as needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
