As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and calls for service, document observations, and support de-escalation when needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM or drive-up areas if present, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior or policy violations, and take appropriate action in accordance with post orders and applicable laws.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with management, and/or requesting law enforcement or medical assistance when needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate key information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
