Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in East Wenatchee, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state, supporting access management and incident reporting while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, staff, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including building entrances, corridors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter routes, watching for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and contractor check-in, verifying credentials and directing individuals to authorized areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support security-related operations such as keys, badges, and patrol documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.
  • Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
