As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen personnel and packages, and conduct routine patrols of assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and deliver customer service through clear, respectful communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and deliveries using authorized methods and equipment, following post orders and supporting an orderly flow of traffic into the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, entry points, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
• Complete required reports and logs, document screening results and incident details, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
