As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site personnel and your Allied Universal team, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, offices, and perimeter routes to help identify and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations.
  • Control access to designated areas by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and exit logs according to site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, assisting with scene control, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete thorough written reports and maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate key information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
