As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badging, provide professional customer service, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, damages, and suspicious conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, medical calls, fire and alarm activations, and other facility emergencies as directed by post orders.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate observed conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and support basic visitor and contractor check-in processes according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
