As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol Shift in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor screening, communicate with onsite teams, and respond to alarms and reports with professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and key areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and direct visitors and deliveries to the proper check-in and staging locations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Complete routine reports and logs, document security-related observations and incidents, and escalate maintenance, sanitation, or operational concerns through the proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
