As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points as needed. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, processing visitors and contractors, and coordinating with site contacts for deliveries and/or pickups.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations as directed, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, monitor alarms and camera systems when assigned, and communicate updates to management and/or local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
