As a Security Officer - Entry Authorization Post in Bridgeton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, identification verification, and visitor management processes.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or vehicle documentation, and maintain accurate logs of personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Operate security-related equipment such as cameras, alarm systems, radios, and access control systems, and complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possessing a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
