As a Security Officer Flex Driver Patrol Utility in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points, observe personnel and vehicle movement, and report irregular activity and/or policy violations through approved reporting channels.
  • Complete routine reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation; support site operations by communicating with client contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
