As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and unusual activity with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, support access control, and deliver customer-focused service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the building, offices, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter on a regular and random basis; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and cash handling or sensitive operational areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; verify identification and access authorization as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site leadership and local law enforcement as directed by policy.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol activity, and unusual observations; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years’ law enforcement experience or 2+ years’ security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years’ security experience.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
