As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading cultural institution, you will conduct routine foot patrols through galleries and public spaces, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist visitors with directions and questions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, verify credentials as directed, and help manage visitor flow during peak attendance and special events.
• Complete required reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and use provided systems to document observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
