What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to facility personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, check-in, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or disturbances to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete required reports and logs such as patrol documentation, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
