You will conduct routine patrols throughout buildings and grounds, support access control and badge checks, and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication and strong customer service. This role requires an armed guard card/license and offers the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and local emergency services when needed.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor processing, and enforcing site rules such as personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation, and communicate security-related observations and status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
