As a Security Officer Flex Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor processing, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver customer service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Control access at gates, entrances, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to supervision and/or site representatives as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
