As a Security Guard Armed Foot Rounds in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and medical facility policy concerns, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate updates during post transitions, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and reporting timely details.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years.
• Armed Guard Card/License.
• 21+ Years of Age.
• CPR/First Aid - preferred.
• Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton - preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
