As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and de-escalation support for disruptive behavior as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility alerts, disturbances, and/or fire and life alarm activations, and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Complete security-related reports and documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and coordinate with emergency responders and/or hospital departments when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
