Job Description


As a Security Officer - Lobby Check-In in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution front desk where you welcome employees and visitors, manage access procedures, and support security-related screening and badge processes. You will monitor the lobby area, respond to requests, document incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and first responders as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a financial services location.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or access control panels, and report unusual conditions according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete shift reports and required documentation, communicate key information during shift transitions, and support client staff with security-related requests at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
