As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Las Vegas, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and the team. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, garages, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and property activity, verify credentials where required, and assist with visitor direction and de-escalation of minor disputes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with onsite management and local public services as needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate actionable updates during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
