As a Security Officer - Armed Route Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to incidents, support access control, and provide clear communication and strong customer service to staff and visitors. This post requires an armed guard card or license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and post orders.
• Carry and responsibly handle assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with company policy, licensing requirements, and site instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter routes, to help reduce the likelihood of unauthorized activity.
• Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and communicate key information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
