As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to issues as they arise, while delivering clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and check-in processes for personnel and vehicle traffic, verifying authorization as required and directing visitors and/or deliveries to the proper areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, accidents and/or disturbances, and escalate notifications per post orders.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document patrol findings and/or incidents, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
