You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control and visitor flow, and document observations in clear reports. Working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity, you will deliver professional customer service and strong communication across the site.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, assist with visitor processing, and direct deliveries to appropriate receiving areas per site policy.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact site leadership and/or emergency services as directed and provide clear information.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate shift updates to oncoming personnel and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
