As an unarmed patrol officer at a premier automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter lines, and vehicle storage areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or policy issues to report.
  • Monitor access points and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, and deliveries, including verifying identification, logging visitors, and issuing directions as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services, and completing required reports.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations, and communicate updates clearly to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
