As a Security Officer in MILWAUKEE, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will assist customers and staff, document activities, and report issues promptly. Minimum 2 plus years of Armed Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft indicators, and policy violations, and document observations in detailed written reports and/or electronic logs.
• Support access control and loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, checking doors and gates for proper closure, and assisting with crowd and line management during peak shopping periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
