Job Description


As a Security Officer - Data Center Patrol Driver in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced healthcare location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a primarily driving post. You will complete vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support staff and visitors with clear communication, and document activity and concerns. This role requires a valid driver’s license and alignment with our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disruptive behavior, trespassing, and/or hazards reported by staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow in assigned areas, offering directions and assistance while helping to maintain orderly entry and exit consistent with site protocols.
  • Complete required reports and documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
