As a Security Officer - Cargo X-Ray Screener in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct screening at key checkpoints, and complete detailed security-related checks that help reduce incidents and support loss prevention goals. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and deliveries using designated screening methods and equipment, following post orders and access control requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and shipping documentation as required, and document activity in logs and/or electronic systems.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying management, dispatch, and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, staging areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
