As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will complete vehicle and foot rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related concerns, and support guests and tenants with clear communication and customer service. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and coordinate with site contacts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff while carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, tenant corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate status updates to appropriate contacts.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, potential policy violations, and/or hazards, helping to deter unwanted activity and supporting security-related operations.
• Complete required documentation such as shift logs, patrol reports, and incident reports; relay pertinent information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
