Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Response in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence that may help to discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with licensing requirements, site protocols, and Allied Universal policies, including proper firearm handling, secure holstering, and maintaining required documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter, watching for suspicious activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
  • Complete timely patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to leadership, and support access control activities such as monitoring entry points, alarm conditions, and camera systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
