As a Security Officer - Key Control Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a food and beverage production location, you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry points and cameras. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate with site contacts to support daily operations. This is a driving post requiring a Valid Driver's License ‐ AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry and exit points for a food and beverage production and/or warehouse location by checking identification, processing visitor sign-in, issuing badges, and directing traffic to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor gates, doors, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, and document access activity using logs and/or electronic systems per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location and shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
