As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government services location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with courteous assistance and clear communication. You will help monitor assigned areas, document observations, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors to appropriate service areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disturbances and requesting assistance from site personnel and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
