As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, authorized visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter zones on a regular and random basis to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, check identification and authorization, manage visitor processing, and document entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol observations, and shift activities, and communicate security-related information to the Allied Universal leadership team and site stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 3+ years combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 5+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
