As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols of grounds and amenities, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist residents and guests with courteous service. You will support access control at entry points, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenity spaces, and perimeter points; conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and community rules compliance, including observing gate activity and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate party.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting dispatch and/or local emergency services as required.
• Complete timely reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate observations and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership and property management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
