As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Routes in Happy Valley, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and associates with professional service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers and store associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter, as permitted by post orders.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request law enforcement and/or management support when needed.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft indicators, and policy violations, and help to deter issues through high-visibility presence and professional communication.
• Complete required reports, log entries, and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and/or the next shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
