What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and team members by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and visitor management processes at an industrial location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, and maintain log entries for visitors, contractors, and deliveries while supporting site rules for controlled areas.
  • Observe and report hazards and/or suspicious activity, assist with emergency response activities as directed, and complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
