What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the financial institution, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify law enforcement and/or management per post orders.
  • Control access to restricted areas by checking identification, monitoring entry points, and screening for prohibited items in accordance with location requirements and applicable laws.
  • Complete timely written reports, incident documentation, and log entries; communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors and location contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
