As a Security Guard - Driver Patrol Rounds in Happy Valley, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support shoppers and store teams with strong communication, report concerns, and document activity as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail store location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical situations, and/or policy violations while escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, receiving docks, exterior entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe shopper and associate activity for unusual behavior, and support loss prevention efforts by documenting observations and contacting management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and service calls, and communicate pertinent information to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
